Experience
I graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst with a B.S. in Mathematics, and a focus on mathematical computation and a minor in philosophy. While at university, I was a member of the commonwealth honors college. The majority of my studies consisted of solving complex algorithms related to time and space. Along with mathematics, I have a background working in computer science and programming, which is a huge hobby of mine.I have experience and the knowledge needed to help students prepare for their SAT tests. My background in advanced learning gives me a deeper insight into what students need to know in order to score higher on their standardized tests. In addition, I am fully capable of tutoring a range of other subjects ranging from elementary and middle school math, algebra, calculus, geometry, American history, Japanese language and culture, Latin, and social studies. When I am outside of the classroom, I enjoy playing role playing games with my friends. I have been an avid player of a popular strategy-based trading card game for the past thirteen years. My other hobbies include playing vintage video games and programming my own computer game series. I hope to someday work as a video game designer.
